Corsair Katar PRO Wireless Mouse Review

The Corsair KATAR PRO Wireless is a good wireless gaming mouse. It’s well-built and has an ambidextrous design with two buttons on its left side, making it small enough to fit into most laptop bags. Its USB receiver storage within the battery compartment makes for quick plug-and play capabilities even before you boot up your computer. With excellent low click latency and a wide CPI range that can be adjusted in increments of 100, this would suit best suited fingertip grip users but also provides comfort when used by medium or large hands in any type of gripping style (palm/claw).

If wired mice are more your speed then check out The Corsair KATAR PRO XT which shares similar size and shape and it performs good. We’ve heard some reports of Bluetooth connectivity issues with newer M1 Macs, but this isn’t something we test for. Let us know in the discussion if you have had similar problems!

Its body is matte black, but the areas surrounding the scroll wheel have glossy textures that give it some pop in terms of looks! It has no lighting zones except for when you engage Bluetooth pairing mode which lights up blue as well as green or red depending on what CPI setting you’re at.

Corsair Katar PRO Wireless Weight

It’s a little heavy for its size, with most of the weight on the back because it uses an AA battery. If you store the receiver into the mouse and use Bluetooth instead, it weighs two grams more but this difference isn’t noticeable. That said there are no options to make changes in terms of weight optimization.
